Google Fit: Health and Activity Tracking App: With the new Google Fit, you can live a better and more active lifestyle. It’s difficult to tell how much or what kind of activity you need to be healthy.

That’s why Google Fit has collaborated with the World Health Organization (WHO) and the American Heart Association (AHA) to offer Heart Points, an activity objective that can help you improve your health.

Activities that get your heart pounding provide significant health advantages for both your heart and mind. For every minute of moderate exercise, such as walking your dog, you’ll get one Heart Point, and for more intense activities, such as jogging, you’ll gain double points.

It only takes 30 minutes of brisk walking five days a week to meet the AHA and WHO recommendations for physical activity to reduce the risk of heart disease, improve sleep, and improve overall mental health.

Google Fit can also assist you in the following ways:

  • Use your phone or watch to track your workouts: Get real-time statistics for your runs, walks, and bike rides, as well as fast information on when you exercise. The Fit will record your pace, speed, route, and other data using the sensors on your Android phone or the Wear OS heart rate sensor on your Google wearable.
  • Keep track of your objectives: View your daily progress toward your Heart Points and Steps target. Meeting your objectives on a consistent basis? Simply change your goals to keep yourself challenged in your pursuit of a healthy heart and mind.
  • Keeping track of all your activities: If you walk, run, or cycle all day, your Android phone or Wear OS by Google smartwatch will identify your actions and add them to your Google Fit journal to ensure you earn credit for every step. Do you prefer a different form of workout? Choose from a list of exercises such as Pilates, Rowing, or Spinning, and Google Fit will track all of your Heart Points.
  • Connect to your preferred apps and devices: Fit can display data from numerous of your favourite applications and gadgets to provide you with a comprehensive perspective of your health, ensuring that you never lose sight of your progress. Lifesum, Wear OS by Google, Nike+, Runkeeper, Strava, MyFitnessPal, Basis, Sleep as Android, Withings, Xiaomi Mi Band, and others are among them.

Check in from anywhere, at any time, create a revamped diary, and see a snapshot of your activity history across all of your integrated applications.
